The Puppies First Day

Mango is the proud mama of 5 boys and 4 girls. The boys were in a rush to see the world because most of the boys were born before the girls. They have settled into a comfortable routine of eating and sleeping. Mango is doing a great job of taking care of them, giving them their baths, and napping while she nurses them.

The puppies seems to have a very light coloring. That can change as they get bigger. Right now they range in color from white to cream to even a darker cinnamon color. We can't wait to see what they will end up looking like.

Puppies are born with their eyes and ears closed. Their eyes and ears will open up around 2 weeks. When they aren't nursing they are huddled together with their warm siblings. Look at their adorable pink ears and noses!
